Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A470 yesterday afternoon (Saturday).

The two-vehicle collision took place at approximately 5pm near Llandefalle, South Powys,

The collision involved a white panel van and a blue Suzuki motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle involved in the collision was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a number of hours for emergency services to deal with the collision and investigative work to begin. It reopened at around 2.30am this morning (Sunday).
