A FARMER returned home to find three quarters of his heating oil tank emptied.
Police say 300 litres of heating oil was stolen from the tank of the farmhouse in Crai sometime between Wednesday, July 20 and the following day when the farmer returned home.
PCSO Jason Hawkins said: "Someone would have probably needed an oil drum and a vehicle to have taken that amount of heating oil."
The PCSO added it is the first reported theft of heating oil he has been aware of since the winter but said people should secure their tanks.
Anyone with any information on the theft is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
