High-end bikes and car stolen during daring daytime raid

POLICE are investigating after four high-value bicycles and an Audi A3 were stolen from a house in the Cantref area of Brecon in broad daylight.

The burglary happened sometime between 3.30pm and 5.30pm on Monday July 11 where four high-value bikes described as a black trek Emonda S18, a white trek Superfly 9, a trek fuel EX9 and a white trek were taken.

Also stolen was a black Audi A3 registration number RE13 OCK.

A statement released by Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Anyone who has any information that could help the investigation, or anyone who may have been offered the opportunity to but the items stolen should contact Brecon Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111."

PCSO 8160 Hawkins said: "We want to remind people in the more isolated areas to ensure security is at its highest and urge vigilance towards unknown persons."
