Seven people were taken to hospital following a collision on the A44 yesterday afternoon.
The two-vehicle collision took place between Penybont and New Radnor.
The vehicles involved in the collision were a green Suzuki Jimny estate car and a beige Renault Megane car.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Dyfed-Powys Police released the following statement: ““Police were called at 1.28pm on Monday, February 16, to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A44 near Presteigne.
“The vehicles involved in the collision were a green Suzuki Jimny estate car and a beige Renault Megane car.
“Seven people were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
“The A44 road between Penybont and New Radnor was closed and reopened at about 9pm.”
