A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving following a two-vehicle crash near Brecon last weekend.

Dyfed-Powys Police said officers were called to the crash on the A40 Brecon Bypass at around 2:30pm on Saturday (February 7).

The man was taken to hospital to be checked over and later released under investigation.

No other injuries were reported.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and the vehicles were recovered. The road reopened at around 5:30pm.
