A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and one man was taken to hospital following a crash on the A479 between Bronllys and Penmaes yesterday afternoon.

The two vehicle collision including a van and a motorbike took place just outside Bronllys at approximately 2.30pm on 31st March.

One man was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and has been released under investigation.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, and has now been re-opened.
