Police and Mountain Rescue Teams are gathered at Glasbury River Bridge for a second day.
Dyfed-Powys Police and Mountain Rescue Teams from Brecon and Longtown were seen on the bridge and in the car park next to the river yesterday and returned there today.
Police have cleared the beach area next to the river. A helicopter, believed to be a National Police Air Service helicopter, was seen circling above the village at around 11am this morning.
The reason for the emergency services presence remains unclear.
Dyfed-Powys Police have been approached for a comment.
