Nine ewes which were all in lamb have been killed by a dog in Radnorshire prompting a police investigation.
Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information following the incident of livestock worrying between Friday, January 14 and Sunday, January 16 in the Llangunllo area.
The force appealed to dog owners to keep control of their pets.
It said: “Please ensure all dogs are kept on leads or under close control near livestock.
“It is advisable to keep off footpaths that run through fields when livestock is present.”
