Police have discovered a body in their search for a missing man from the Brecon area.

South Wales Police have confirmed that officers involved in the search for missing man James Kingsbury had discovered a body on Monday.

Police said that the death was not being treated as suspicious and that Mr Kingsbury’s family had been informed.

James Kingsbury - known as Jim - was reported missing on Monday,October 5, from his home in Brecon where he had recently moved from the Ystradgynlais area.

He was described as a dedicated NHS nurse and volunteer biker for the blood service.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the HM Coroner,” said a statement from South Wales Police.
