One person was taken to hospital with a serious injury, and an infant was also taken to hospital following a crash on the A40.

The collision occurred at around 8.35pm on Friday, 20 February, between Sennybridge and Halfway on the A40. Two vehicles were involved.

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries to their ankle. An infant was also taken to hospital just as a precautionary measure.

The road was closed until around 4am.

Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A40, Sennybridge, Brecon at approx. 8.35pm, Friday, February 20.

“The road was closed whilst emergency services were at scene and the vehicles recovered.

“The road re opened at approximately 4am Saturday, 21.

“One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries to their ankle. An infant was also taken to hospital just as a precautionary measure.”
