Dyfed Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision at Welshpool which saw a woman airlifted to hospital with a serious head injury.
A police spokesman said, "At approximately 3.25pm on Thursday, 31 December 2020, a serious injury road traffic collision occurred on the B4388 Leighton Road, Powys, when a VW vehicle was in collision with a pedestrian.
"The pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman, suffered a serious head injury and was airlifted to Stoke Hospital."
