Brecon resident Paula Rogers is hoping a bike taken from outside her home can be returned to her.
The distinctive brown Triumph three speed lady’s bicycle was taken from the garden of Paula’s home in Cradoc Road.
She last rode the bike on Sunday, July 2 and on Monday realised it was missing.
"It’s an old bike and it’s not really a lot of good to anyone but it means a lot to me. I’ve had it a while and I only use it to go along the canal," said Paula.
She has since been searching around town in the hope that someone may have abandoned the bike and has also appealed for information via Facebook.
"It is really distinctive and in its day it was a quality bike. I just wondered whether an opportunist saw it there and was tired so took it. I’ve been going along the canal and the river to see if anyone’s left it as it wouldn’t get up a big hill like Cerrigcochion Road.
"I hope to find it and hope it turns up. It was only when I went to get it on Monday that I realised it had gone.
"I rode it on Sunday but hadn’t put it away, I’d just left it in the garden but normally things are pretty safe in Brecon.
"My friend Angie Williams had given me the bike years ago."
Paula is asking if anyone finds her bike to contact her by email at [email protected].
