Police are still appealing for the driver of a white van to come forward after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash.

The rider was airlifted to Morriston Hospital in Swansea following the incident on the B4358 about two miles from Newbridge-on-Wye on the road towards Beulah on Sunday, April 9.

The incident happened at around 2.55pm and police attended at around 3.15pm.

Dyfed-Powys Police said this morning the man, who was riding a red motorbike, remains in hospital in a "critical but stable" condition. On Sunday the force said he’d suffer possible "life changing injuries".

The van was travelling south towards Beulah and police want to trace the driver as part of their investigation.

A spokeswoman said: "Anyone who was driving a white van in this area, or who was travelling along this stretch of road around this time, is urged to contact Powys Roads Policing Unit on 101, or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting ref 220."
