Fans of the Beatles’ music are being urged not to miss out on a gig this week after a venue’s website listed the wrong day and appeared to suggest it had been postponed.

The Upbeat Beatles, a tribute band to the fab four, are due to perform at the Pavilion in Llandrindod Wells this Saturday, March 24 but a notice under two photographs of the band said: "WEATHER UPDATE: This show has been postponed until Friday, 20th April".

However the venue has since contacted us to clarify the Upbeat Beatles show is still going ahead, as planned, this Saturday, March 24, with doors opening at 6.45pm.

The website had listed the Upbeat Beatles show as taking place this Friday.

The re-arranged show is in fact a tribute to the Bee Gees by a different band called Jive Talkin’.

The Jive Talkin’ show has been rescheduled until Friday, April 20 from an unspecified date.

The full notice on the website said: "SHOW UPDATE: PAVILION MID WALES Due to concerns for public safety, we have taken the decision (with the weather to deteriorate further).. to postpone tomorrow evening’s show. The show has been rescheduled for FRIDAY 20TH APRIL. All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Pavilion Mid Wales and Jive Talkin".

Unfortunately due to the confusion the Upbeat Beatles show is wrongly listed as postponed until April on the What’s On page of the current edition of The Brecon & Radnor Express.
