Last Sunday Brecknock YFC held their Annual Stockman Day at Brecon Livestock Market by the kind permission of McCartneys Auctioneers.
Earlier this month the YFC held their annual carcass judging competition at W J George Butchers Talgarth and their cairy judging competition, very kindly hosted by the Sevenoaks family in Llangorse.
Rose of Pontfaen YFC won Stockman of the Year (16 years and under) Chloe of Trecastle YFC won the 18 years and under category, Dani Harley of Builth Wells YFC won the 21 years and under category and Rhian Lewis of Pontfaen YFC won the 28 years and under category.
Elin Havard of Sennybridge YFC won the overall Stockman of the Year (28 years and under) and Chloe of Trecastle YFC won the under 18 category.
Congratulations to all of the members on winning their individual awards and good luck to all of the members who have been selected to go forward and represent the county at the English and Welsh Winter Fairs later this month.
