BRECON and Radnorshire fell silent last weekend as communities paid their respects to those who died during war.

Town’s throughout the county took part in the two minutes silence at 11am on Friday, November 11 where wreaths were laid at cenotaphs to remember the war dead.

Services were also held and parades took place on Remembrance Sunday to honour those who lost their lives during conflict.

Our photographer Peter Williams attended services throughout the county and captured the moments people paid their respects.
