A TORNADO that blew across the Brecon Beacons has been captured on video.
The swirling cloud, that was estimated to be up to 2,000 ft tall, swept overhead near the Crai Reservoir and was visible across the south western area of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
This video was taken by tree surgeon Barry Evans who was working with colleague Andrew Caldon last Thursday, July 18. Several other witnesses also reported seeing the twister.
Barry and Andrew, of Swansea, were working at Coelbren at around 1pm and were looking towards the direction of the Nant Helen opencast mine.
