TWENTY-EIGHT stone wedding DJ Mark Weller allowed a BBC Wales TV crew to record his preparations for stomach stapling surgery.
Mark, from Brecon, underwent the irreversible £10,000 operation to staple his stomach, reducing its size by 80 per cent, at Swansea's Morriston Hospital last month.
His preparations for the operation, and attempts to lose weight, were filmed for 'The Welsh Weight Clinic' which was shown on BBC One Wales as part of the channel's season of programmes about health and lifestyle choices.
