Brecon Mountain Rescue Team volunteers have recently attended two callouts for injured casualties as the weather continues to improve.

On Thursday, April 24, the team were called upon by Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, who were already busy attending another call to the Neuadd Ridge to assist a female casualty.

The casualty was given pain relief and stretchered off the hill.

On Sunday, May 4, the team were called out to the forestry near Resolven where a casualty had sustained an ankle injury.

Both Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team and Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were out attending other incidents at the time.

The casualty was evacuated by stretcher and transferred to hospital.

A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: “We wish all the casualties a speedy recovery.”
