A MOUNTAIN RESCUE team from Powys was among those in Wales last week searching for missing five-year-old April Jones. 

As Dyfed Powys Police moved to request mountain rescue assistance in the town of Machynlleth on the morning of Tuesday October 2, over 15 members of Brecon Mountain Rescue Team (BMRT) responded to a team call-out and were among 24 unpaid, professional mountain rescue teams deployed in the area to search for the schoolgirl who went missing from the town's Bryn-y-Gog estate the previous evening.
