Brecon Pride is set to return to the town on Saturday, July 25.
The free event will begin with a parade from Dinas Road Car Park at 11:30am.
The parade will make its way through the town before finishing at King George V Playing Field, next to Theatr Brycheiniog, where visitors can enjoy live music, stalls and performances from LGBTQIA+ artists.
No tickets are required to attend.
The first Brecon Pride was held in September 2023 after being launched by Brecon Town Council with the support of local volunteers. It became a registered charity the following year and is now run entirely by volunteers.
Michael Price, chair of Brecon Pride, who was recently named on this year's Pinc List recognising people making a difference for LGBT+ communities across Wales, said the event played an important role in rural Mid Wales.
"Brecon Pride is so important to the town as it provides visibility to LGBTQIA+ individuals in a rural area, something that a lot of other rural areas cannot," he said.
"It's all about community and providing a space for people to meet and, most importantly, feel safe and celebrated."
The event comes after nearby Hay Pride announced in April that it would not go ahead in 2026, with organisers citing a lack of time and capacity to continue running the event.
"It's especially important this year as so many other small Pride organisations are having to cancel and postpone their events due to lack of volunteer help and funding," said Mr Price.
"We have a stellar lineup of performers, many of whom are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, something incredibly important for a Pride event."
Organisers will publish the full running order on Brecon Pride's website and social media channels ahead of the event.
