A PETITION calling for the establishment of a specialist eating disorder treatment unit in Wales has been handed into the National Assembly.
The 526 signature petition was gathered, and presented to the Assembly's petition committee, by 22-year-old Keira Marlow from Brecon who has successfully battled anorexia.
Student Keira said: "I had to go to a specialist hospital in England. There should be treatment available closer to home."
She travelled to Cardiff Bay with mum Leslie and sister Holly to hand the petition to Mid and West Wales Liberal Democrat AM, William Powell who chairs the Assembly's petition committee.
