EVERY dog has its day, and pawesome Pomeranian pup Buddy was no exception after winning at Crufts.

The dog, whose show name is Klassna Daydreamer to Bilijees, has been sweeping the board at dog shows throughout the UK, securing his place at this year’s Crufts.

Trained by former panel beater Bill Stone and his wife Jean, from Caerbont, south Powys, Buddy is just the latest of their show dogs to receive appaws at the canine competition.

The retired couple have been responsible for scores of prize pooches, training their own pets as well as the best friends of scores of people all over the UK.

Mr Stone, of Caerbont Cottages, said that Buddy was placed second in the Yearling Group in Birmingham at the NEC.

"This group is for dogs under the age of one," said Mr Stone. "He had won several other shows to be able to compete at Crufts so it’s been quite a successful year for Buddy."
