A BRECONSHIRE GP plans to swim the English Channel to raise funds for a heart disease charity.

Dr James Wrench, of the Builth Wells GP practice, will compete the Channel challenge with a a team of professors, cardiologists and doctors who also hope to inspire others and spread the message that physical activity is crucial to preventing heart disease.
