Bakery Greggs is to open in Builth Wells and create 14 new jobs.
The popular bakery chain will open its new shop at Station Road on Wednesday, May 23.
It already has shops in Brecon, Llandrindod Wells and an outlet at a roadside garage on the A470 at Doldowlod.
As well as serving takeaway food the shop, unlike the chain’s existing outlet at Bethel Square, Brecon, will also have seating available for customers to eat in.
Blayne Deleport, shop manager at Greggs Station Road, said: "We can’t wait to open our doors and hear what the local community thinks. We hope customers enjoy the wide range of tasty items we have on offer."
Roisin Currie, retail director for Greggs, said: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Builth Wells, bringing new jobs to the area and providing our customers with a modern and convenient new shop.”
Breakfast will be served until 11am each day, featuring traditional classics such as bacon rolls, fresh fruit and a full range of freshly ground, Fairtrade coffee.
Greggs says it also offers The Balanced Choice range includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, porridge and fruit - all fewer than 400 calories.
