GLADYS William’s celebrated her 100th birthday this year on March 1. Gladys has lived near Kington her whole life.
She attended school in Huntington (now Huntington chapel). She married Llewelyn Williams and they made their home at Arrow Court, where they farmed together. Gladys has three children, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Gladys is pictured receiving her birthday card from the Queen off postman Peter Bayliss, who after 29 years of service has now delivered his first royal card.
