The chairperson of the Bracken Trust Social Committee has stepped down from her duties after 13 years of dedicated service.
Brenda Thomas stepped down from her role last week for the Llandrindod Wells based cancer support charity.
A spokesperson for the committee said: "Brenda began her role as chair of the committee in 2009 and took it from strength to strength.
"During this time Brenda has been an ambassador for the Bracken Trust and helped raise many thousands of pounds to support the services provided at the trust.
"We are pleased to say that Brenda is not retiring completely - she will remain an active member of the social committee, therefore this is au revoir not goodbye."
