Football fans can have their photo taken with the most prized trophies in European football at Brecon Leisure Centre on Saturday.

The UEFA Champions League trophy will arrive at Brecon Leisure Centre on Saturday, May 6 at 1pm.

Wales is hosting the UEFA Champions League Final and UEFA Women’s Champions League Final in Cardiff next month and the Football Association of Wales is touring the trophies around the country.

The men’s and women’s trophies will be at Brecon Leisure Centre from 1pm to 3pm before moving on to Merthyr Town Football Club at 5pm.

At Brecon Leisure Centre fans can get a free photo with the trophies and there will also be turn up and play sessions for 5 to 16-year-olds who are reminded to bring their football boots.

Jonathan Ford, chief executive of the Football Association of Wales said: "The UEFA Women’s Champions League Final represents the highest standards in Women’s football, and I’d urge anyone who can to come to Cardiff City Stadium on June 1 to witness what will undoubtedly be a fantastic match, an incredible family atmosphere, and one of the most memorable Finals to date."

The UEFA Women’s Champions League Final takes place at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, June 1 and tickets are still available while the men’s final takes place on Saturday, June 3 at the Principality Stadium which is being renamed the Wales National Stadium for the event.
