A new set of electric car charging points have recently been unveiled.
The new electric car charging points in Rhayader Central Car Park (off Dark Lane) were formally unveiled last week and are now fully operational.
Cllr Angela Davies said: “The installation of these electric car charging points was possible due to the persistence and hard work of my predecessor Cllr Kelvyn Curry. They are a symbol of the many successful projects that Kelvin resided over in his 14-year tenure.
Cllr Dai Davies, Mayor of Rhayader, said “Rhayader is the Outdoor Capital of Wales - these electric charging points are one step in our commitment to the environment and are here to be used by residents and visitors alike.”
Cllr Kelvyn Curry added he was delighted to see the electric car charging units installed and open for use.
