A PENSIONER who served as a secret codebreaker during World War II has returned to her undercover former headquarters after nearly 70 years.

Betty Morgan, of Kington, carried out top secret work intercepting German Messages at MI6-governed Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes as a Wren between 1941 and 1945.

Workers at Bletchley Park, whose intelligence work is now credited as playing a key role in shortening the war by two years, were made to sign the Official Secrets Act to protect classified information from the enemy.
