A CARING community is ralling round to support a woman bravely battling an extremely rare form of cancer.
Rhianna Thomas, from Builth Wells, suffers from 'Ewing's Sarcoma', a cancer so rare that there are only 30 known cases in the world.
The 24-year-old former Builth High School and Nottingham Trent University student has not just captured the hearts of those from her Mid Wales hometown, but also many across the globe through her internet http://raretodaygonetomorrow.blogspot.co.uk/">http://raretodaygonetomorrow.blogspot.co.uk/ "target="_blank">blog, which details her journey back to full health.
Now it is her family and local community who have been inspired, and are organising a fashion and music show at the Hotel Metropole in Llandrindod Wells on Sunday, June 9 for the fashion and marketing graduate.
It will include a table sale and raffle and will take place between 4pm and 7pm, hosted with the help of Rhianna's loving family and friends, as well as a slew of businesses and individuals from Builth.
Entertainment will be provided by Builth Wells Ladies Choir and Tony Royale.
