POWYS County Council is to further investigate a town centre traffic light system after repeated calls from local residents and councillors to improve the facility.
Brecon's Watergate junction has been a constant source of concern for town residents who say the entire system needs to be overhauled to improve the safety of pedestrians and road users.
Their case has been taken up by Liberal Democrat MP for Brecon and Radnorshire, Roger Williams and the town's Mayor, and St Mary's ward county councillor, Paul Ashton.
