A TOWN council has rejected the offer of a slate plaque for its premises intended to form part of the London 2012 Olympic Games legacy.
Brecon Town Council was asked to allow a Welsh slate plaque, inscribed with specially commissioned poetry, to be permanently erected on the outside wall of its historic Guildhall base in the town centre.
