A RETIRED couple say they have no regrets over a failed appeal that landed them with £100,000 costs in a dispute over a £2,500 repair bill.

Hospital surgeon and artist David Cairns and his wife Anne had asked London's Court of Appeal to overturn a decision by a judge sitting at Brecon County Court that they were fully responsible for a £2,500 bill to clear a flood culvert.
