The husband of Hollie Kerrell has appeared before a court charged with her murder.
Christopher Kerrell, who wore a grey sweatshirt at the brief appearance before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court on Saturday afternoon, was only asked to confirm his name and give his address and date of birth to the court.
The 35-year-old was told he is accused of murdering his 28-year-old wife on Sunday, April 22 and he will next appear before Cardiff Crown Court this Monday, April 30
Kerrell, who gave his address as Litton Court, Whitton, Knighton was remanded into custody.
He was represented by Geraint Jones at the hearing.
