A Llangors man has been banned from driving for six months and fined more than £200 for driving while using a mobile phone.

Barry Smith, 59, pleaded guilty to driving while using a phone along the A438 at Three Cocks, Brecon on February 21 this year.

As well as a six-month driving ban, Methyr magistrates ordered that Smith pay a £216 fine and a £34 surcharge, as well as receive six penalty points on his driving licence.
