Helen Tuite, from Aberedw, has completed her self-organised half marathon around The Groe in Builth Wells, raising £800 for The Bracken Trust.

Helen completed the 13.1-mile challenge in 2 hours and 23 minutes on Friday, April 25.

“Thank you to all those who sponsored me,” said Helen.

“A huge thank you also to my posse of supporters who were there on the day to verify I actually did it and cheer me on - Trish, Amanda, Martin, Chris and Adrian.”

The Bracken Trust provides practical, physical, and emotional support to those affected by cancer, a cause close to Helen’s heart following her late mother’s breast cancer diagnosis.
