POLICE busted an international cannabis operation - headed by a wheelchair bound mother of three from Brecon. Catherine Maddox, 57, from Bron y Crug was described at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court as the head of the operation in Powys. She was jailed for two years after admitting conspiracy to import Thai grass cannabis from Thailand while four other defendants, all from Brecon, received jail sentences, with some suspended.
