A DJ from Hay on Wye has been raising money for a series of good causes in the area by holding weekly discos in his kitchen.

Max Walker, otherwise known as DJ Max Galactic, has been live streaming his Saturday night parties on Facebook.

Thousands of people have logged on and watched his events while raising money for a number of charities.

He has hosted three parties so far with more than £2,400 being raises for Helping Our Homeless Wales.

And his upcoming Burgers and Cocktails themed disco, taking place on May 23, will be drumming up money for Hereford Foodbank.

Max has teamed up with a string of local businesses and is encouraging his followers to support them in - and in return they get discount off of their food orders.
