A BAND credited as one of the pioneers of the 1990s Britpop sound are to open their UK tour in Brecon.

Dodgy, who scored a 1996 UK top five hit, with their feel good single Good Enough, will play Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog on Tuesday, May 8.

Drummer Mathew Priest told The Brecon & Radnor Express about the band's connections to Wales and Brecon.
