Following the successful pilot last year, Brecon Town Council is organising busking once again for the town this summer.

The busking sessions will take place on Saturdays throughout July and the first Saturday of August.

There are some slots left for anyone wishing to busk. The town council is also looking for volunteers to help out on busking dates.

Last year’s busking pilot saw 34 performers of all ages and abilities perform at 16 different locations including St. Mary’s garden, The Bandstand and y Gaer.

The four-week scheme, which was held last September, proved very popular with locals and tourists.

If you would like to take part email [email protected] as soon as possible - to register your interest and confirm your preferred dates to play.
