Come and meet the Brecon Town Concert Band for a free relaxed concert next weekend in Talybont-on-Usk.

The band will be playing on Saturday, October 15 at Henderson Hall.

Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument? Or are you interested in getting back to playing after a gap?

The band will be playing a wide range of music and demonstrating different instruments – from Timpani to Piccolo.

There will be opportunities to participate in making music using percussion, woodwind and brass instruments - or bring along your own instrument.

“Our goal is to encourage people of any age to start learning an instrument, return to playing music or just come and enjoy the music,” says Dave Jones, conductor of the band.

“All are welcome to drop in anytime between 3:30pm and 5:30pm and stay as long as they like.”

This free event, the first of three, is kindly sponsored by the Rotary Club.
