Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company is set to put on a show-stopping performance in this year’s pantomime.
The dedicated group will be performing the story of Rapunzel for the very first time, in Rapunzel - a tangled panto.
The pantomime tells the tale of a young girl who was taken from her parents, the King and Queen of Bouffant when she was a baby by the evil witch, Gothel. As the years passed, the King and Queen released sky lanterns every year on her birthday to mark her being taken, while, alone in her tower, Rapunzel watched them light up the sky.
The show begins on the eve of her 18th birthday when she longs to leave the tower and find the source of the magic lights she sees every year on her birthday.

The performances will take place at The Albert Hall in Llandrindod Well, on Friday, January 20 at 7:30pm, Saturday, January 21 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, January 22 at 2:30pm.
Tickets are available at £12 an adult, £6 a child, and £8 a student, for those up to 22 years and in full time education, ID required.
Tickets can be bought at Coversure Insurance in Middleton Street or on the door.
