The National Cycle Museum is seeking volunteers to assist in the expansion and development of its activities and role in the history of cycling .

Currently the museum has a small number of volunteers who try to ensure the museum is open three days a week, provide a school visit programme and enable external displays to be made at various events .

Volunteers can attend on a regular basis- commiting to one day a month , one day a week or just at a specific event. The museum team is on the lookout for volunteers based locally to the museum’s premises in ‘’Llandrindod Wells

The work is interesting and varied and can involve meeting and greeting visitors, machine maintenance , event displays and cataloguing work

It would suit a retired couple, two friends, or someone interested in bicycle history

Travel expenses are paid, training will be provided , and experience of cycles not expected

If you are interested please contact the curator on [email protected] or call in the museum on a Monday or Tuesday.
