The Stormz Community For Musical Arts CIC are bringing two welsh Legends together with top musicians and a great show to The Foundry Brecon on September 9th 2023 .
2 years ago the founding members of a small, non-profit organisation helping youngsters around wales to promote a better mental health through music put together a country rock band to help older musicians in the community, the rest is history.
Country Stormz is now an exciting 7pc band and their ‘Nashville Country Rock Show’ is selling out at venues both in Wales and across the border bringing 60’s and 70’s classic hits to packed audiences and to a great reception.

While searching for local musicians the band members couldn’t believe it when Dai Shell came forward joining them on guitar, an idol of two of the founder members for over 40 years.
Dai was a huge part of Sassafras, one of the biggest Country Rock bands to come out of Wales.
With 3 albums , many worldwide tours supporting bands like Peter Frampton, Fleetwood Mac and many more.
Sassafras hold the record in the 70’s for performing at 332 gigs in one year just beating Slade by one.
Then 6 months ago the band couldn’t believe their luck again when Steve Williams from world known rock band Budgie joined on drums . Budgie recorded 10 albums, had a huge following around the world touring with giants like Ozzy Osborne, Gillan etc and still have a big following in America, they headlined huge festivals both here and abroad
