MORE than 40 former employees from the Llandrindod Wells General Post Office, who worked there from the mid 1950s to the early 1970s, attended their second ever reunion evening at the Llandrindod Wells Golf Club at the weekend. Those attending the reunion included staff who were postmen, telephonists, counter staff, mechanics, engineers and sub postmasters. The event was organised by members of the old Post Office Sports and Social Committee under the chairmanship of Derek Hudson and some of those present are pictured above. They hope to organise another event in two years’ time.
