BRECON Beacons Tourism has extended the deadline for entries to the first ever tourism awards for the Brecon Beacons.

The event is to mark Brecon Beacons Tourism’s tenth anniversary and the winners will be announced at an awards dinner at The Manor Hotel in November.

The deadline for entries has been extended until midday on July 15.

The Awards are being sponsored by a range of different businesses and organisations: Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages, Group Accommodation, Green Tourism, Pear Distribution, Neath Port Talbot College Group, Powys and The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.

The organisers hope that the awards will be an opportunity for the destination to celebrate all the great things that are on offer for visitors whilst giving the runners up and winner’s additional unique selling points to help promote their businesses.
