A FAMILY'S plight which has touched an entire town brought people from across Breconshire together last weekend.

Mum of two Alison Williams, from Brecon, suffered a cardiac arrest last August and has been left seriously brain damaged and bed-bound ever since.

On Saturday, February 9, Brecon Rugby Football Club hosted a family day involving a charity rugby match and then an auction in the evening, with all funds raised donated to Alison's family in order to help with the ongoing care she needs.
