A CAKE MAKER from Brecon is hosting a pamper night in the town this Saturday, May 12 to raise funds for a cancer charity after her friend was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year.

Married Andrea Shiel, 47, who lives at Cradoc Close, was encouraged to launch the fundraiser after her friend and former work colleague, 52-year-old Mandy Hemmngs from Llanfaes, Brecon was diagnosed with an aggressive form of gullet cancer earlier this year.
