Pontfaen YFC is bustling with activity as members embark on a whirlwind of achievements, from representing the club in Europe to competitions held closer to home.
Raiff Devlin first headed to Budapest to the Rural Youth Work 101 Study Session to represent Pontfaen, after the club earned a place after winning the Rural Youth Europe ‘Inspirational club of the Year back in September.
“Having the opportunity to learn more about youth movements across Europe and make lifelong friends in the process was an experience that I will never forget,” said Raiff.
The Brecknock Senior Pool and Darts competition was then held at Brecon Rugby Club.
Chloe Williams won the Ladies Pool Singles with Will Prosser and Chloe Williams winning the Doubles.
In the darts Will Prosser won the Boys Singles.
The following day, members then headed to Rhayader to compete in the Wales YFC Field Day.
Rhian Lewis took part in the Senior Stockman of the Year, gaining third as a team.
Rhian was also awarded second place in the overall Stockman of the Year.
Thomas Phillips and Sian Healey took part in the Farm Safety with Ieuan Williams and Ryan Jones - Erwood YFC gaining fifth place.
Sian won the First Aid section.
Josh Morgan, Rhys Davies and Will Herdman also took part in the Junior Fencing.
Brecknock were runners-up to Radnor federation for the overall Field Day
